Poodle Mixes & Designer Breeds
At Loe Kennels, our most common breeds include Cavapoos, Havapoos and Shihpoos. A brief description of each is below. As with all mixed breeds, it is hard to determine which characteristics the puppy will have. Keep this in mind as you determine the right breed for your family. While these are the primary mixes we strive for, we will occasionally have the random mixed breed litters, and will post those on our available puppies page.

The Cavapoo...
​
The Cavapoo, or Cavadoodle, ​is a mix between a poodle and a purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Cavapoo puppies are wonderful with children; they seldom meet a stranger and love being with people. They are some of the most calm of all doodle varieties. They seldom bark, and they love to cuddle. They are affectionate, friendly, loyal, gentle, playful and social dogs.

The Havapoo...

The Havapoo, also known as the Poovanese or Havadoodle, is an adorable little ball of fluff is the result of cross-breeding a toy or miniature poodle with a Havanese. This charming and friendly pooch is well-suited to most families and due to its small size and is more than happy dwelling in an apartment. Energetic and playful, lets see what we’ve ended up with now we’ve mixed the Poodle (National Dog of France) and the Havanese (National Lapdog of Cuba).

The Shihpoo...

The Shih-Poo is a mixed breed dog–a cross between the Shih Tzu and Poodle dog breeds. Small, hypoallergenic and cuddly companions, these pups inherited some of the best qualities from both of their parents. They love to be doted on, pampered, and loved. They are pretty versatile and can thrive in almost any environment–family home, apartment, or tiny house in the middle of nowhere. Single person, or family, just make sure your Shih-Poo gets lots of love and attention.
